1/22/01 - This page has become such a backseat I failed to recognize that I had some outdated links on it! The links below were updated today. Hopefully, i can get back to doing some things on here soon. I've been doing so much web related work and training in the workplace, I'm pretty much burnt out on it by the time I sit down to work on this site. Either way, lord willing, if i can find the time and energy, i'll add more later (although i really don't see anyone screaming for changes or updates). 8/16/00 - Finally did something to the page. It's been so long and so many skills and experiences have accumulated. I finally found some time to actually make a change to this thing. Since last update, I've acquired DSL (direct subscriber line) at home which means I got a T1 line in my dining room. It's really spoiling me to the point where I don't have to go to work anymore to enjoy good bandwidth. One of my life long dreams was to put out my own radio station and since acquiring DSL I've been able to stream MP3 music to the internet to anyone who is interested. (Say it with me: "I am interested! I am interested!"). Click on switch number 5 below to get all the details on the radio station WMOM: Music of Magnesia. And to those of you who are really tired of the Macromedia Flash switches at the bottom, I'm starting to feel your pain. I'm considering a change to this whole site but that will come when I get some substantial time to sit in front of my computer at home with all my facilities and software at my timeless disposal. Until, then you just gotta deal with it!! 1/23/00 - Got tired of hawking this website out so recruiters with their "HOT" opportunities could file it. I figure'd I'd beef it up a little. Then they could REALLY not help me find a job. Under switch 3 there is a new Flash 4 movie I did. It's not much. It was a dream I had about making ANY sort of animation to an entire song. The key lesson here wasn't so much making an animation, it was more to see if I could post a full length song with some semblance of quality. Being the sound/music WHORE that I am, I was pretty impressed. The choice of using Herb Alpert and the Tijuanna Brass was obvious. It's not a very high quality original recording anyways (listen for the record scratches) and, heck, I LIKE HERB! So why not?! 11/28/99 - Added a nifty graphic at the bottom of the right column bitchin about resolution. Used Photoshop and Powerpoint to make it. PowerPoint is the most sublime of artsy fartsy software. Those presentation pumping managers have no idea the power they use when they make boring corporate presentations with stock clip arts. PowerPoint was always my favorite class to teach. 11/27/99
- Gotta
have a website! Gotta have a website! Today I learned
that transparent gifs aren't transparent if they are index color
transparent gifs (at least where flash is concerned). Ya gotta
make'm transparent from RGB then Flash likes'm better. This
basically puts Photoshop on my I HATE YOU list.
a.k.a. Look Ma! That freak put me on his website! That's right! This is where you go for your ego boost du jour! The folks listed here are the ones who had to put up with me complaining about software and the way things are in general. Those of you who have helped with expert knowledge are dispelling my theory that nobody shares knowlege in the 90's. Thank you! Those who ignore my requests for help, I curse you with the "This is so darn easy a chimp could do it and you are afraid that the chimps will make you look bad!" spell. In otherwords, look out self righteous web designers, this chimp is comin to gitcha!! Ssteven2:

What you see here is my experimental home for all the new and nifty things I've been fooling around with concerning Web Design. This site is meant to be a testing ground. This is by no means a final product or is meant to be professional in any fashion. I currently have a site that I'm working on which will get the refinements and skills acquired by the testing on this site. I put this site here for my own use to see how my little experiments will work once posted. If you have trouble with this page and it's execution, be rest assured, i'm at home probably cursing while i'm fixing its glitches. So this means that comments are welcome but technical help is much more desired. This site uses Macromedia Flash 4 intensively. If you don't have the Flash Player (v4) yet, GO GET IT by clicking the Flash Player logo below.
I'm using the following sofware for this little site:
This page was created in 1024x768 resolution. If you can't set this resolution on your computer or you think it's too small, GET CORRECTIVE EYE SURGERY or GET A NEW MONITOR/VIDEO CARD. I could have designed this page for the web standard of 800x600 but it's lame!! Because of this, those of you who view in 800x600 resolution may find this web site ugly. Why not beautify the world around you and spend some money on a better monitor or video card?
